Our spotlight on member successes and achievements. Hearty congratulations to all!

Jo Forestier
Jo had a poem ‘Believe in Me’ published in the Waco Wordfest 2017 anthology.

Biff Ward
Biff was a winner (from a circle of six winners)—of the Griffith Review Novella competition for 2017, that will be published later this month.

Ron Schroer
Ron was shortlisted for the Alan Marshall Short Story Award, and the International Aeon Award Short Fiction Contest (Ireland)—each for different stories.

Maryanne Falk
Maryanne was equal winner for the Positive Words January Mini-competition for her short story titled “Chorusing Crickets” and the piece was printed in the June issue of Positive Words.

Kathleen Bleakley
Kathleen has had poems published in the following international anthologies over the last year, all compiled by Robin Barratt: Love, A Collection of Poetry & Prose on Loving & Being in Love; Travel, A Collection of Poetry & Prose on Travels & Travelling and War,  A Collection of Poetry & Prose on the Bravery & Horror of War.
Kathleen also had a poem in the Spineless Wonders installation Pavement Poems at Newcastle Writers Festival, and a poem in the  New Shoots Poetry Anthology, e-published by Red Room Company and Rochford St Review.

Catherine McCullagh
Catherine’s first novel, Dancing with Deception, a gripping piece of historical fiction set in occupied Paris, has just been published by Sydney-based Big Sky Publishing. The novel was launched during the recent Canberra Writers’ Festival.

Karen Viggers
Karen continues to enjoy great success in France, having now sold over 500,000 copies of her works, including bestseller The Lightkeepers Wife.
