Applications are now open for the next round of our Blogger in Residence program.
This opportunity is open to emerging writers who would like to build their portfolio and see their work published regularly on Capital Letters, reaching out to our large, established audience. Two individuals will be selected to write a post every 1 to 2 weeks for a period of 3 months. You will be producing content in the form of interviews, short writing-related articles, and anything else you may be inspired by at the time (we will be open to your pitches).
We will be here to guide you along the way, and help you source people you might want to interview. This is an unpaid position, but at the end of the 3-month residency you’ll have new connections, experience and a collection of published online writing. Our current and past bloggers have written fantastic pieces, and left the program with great contacts, skills and confidence in their abilities. Details on our past and current bloggers can be found here, or by clicking the Blogger in Residence tab above.
To those interested in applying we recommend that you peruse the blog beforehand, so that you have a good idea about our style, and the type of things we publish.
Send applications to communications@actwriters.org.au with a sample of your writing, topics you might be interested in covering, and any links to your current blog.
Applications close Friday 6 May.
Previous applicants are encouraged to apply. Only successful applicants will be notified. Email submissions only.
It’s great that applications are now open for the next round of your Blogger in Residence program
