Are you passionate about literature and all things writing? Do you have experience in editing, blogging & design? The ACT Writers Centre is currently seeking a Communications Officer for a 6 month maternity leave contract.
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and have a creative and imaginative approach to content production, as well as excellent organisational and communication skills. The applicant should possess exceptional writing and editing skills, and experience in WordPress, Adobe InDesign & Photoshop. Experience in graphic design is desirable, but not essential. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who would like to join a small dynamic team, who possesses a love of literature and a desire to support and promote the ACT’s writing scene.
The position involves managing the production and distribution of all of our publications—weekly enewsletter, monthly magazine and blog. As well as undertaking additional promotional tasks as requested by the Director. For a full duty statement please email director@actwriters.org.au
21 hrs/wk, $54,000 (pro rata). Starting July 2015.
