In partnership with the National Library of Australia and the Copyright Agency Limited, the ACT Writers Centre presents an in conversation event with three of this year’s Miles Franklin Shortlist: Romy Ash (Floundering), Annah Faulkner (The Beloved) and Carrie Tiffany (Mateship with Birds) and judge Richard Neville. Chaired by ABC 666’s Melanie Tait.

This workshop is part of our young writers program and is aimed at writers aged 18-30

The Slam the Mic! Poetry workshop will help budding young poets & writers sharpen their words for live performance with Australian Poetry’s Queensland Coordinator and slammer David Stavanger.

How to Build and Market an App

This workshop will step you through the development process in Apps from a business and marketing perspective. It will offer some essential tools so that your ‘idea’ has the best chance of success. Special attention will be given to authors/illustrators with ideas for BookApps and animated picture books. You won’t learn how to code an App but you will learn whether your App is worth coding in the first place.
